Kite Games — Privacy Policy
Last updated: 30 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information Kite Games (“Kite Games”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects through its games and applications (each, a “Game” and together the “Games” or “Services”), why we collect it, and the choices you have.
By downloading, accessing, or playing our Games, you acknowledge the practices described in this Policy.

1. Summary (the short version)
- We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or precise location.
- We use Firebase Analytics to understand how our Games are played, and Firebase Crashlytics to detect and fix crashes.
- When you first launch a Game, we ask you to review and accept our Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy before you continue.
- If you use a global leaderboard, we store an anonymous player identifier, your score, and the display name and avatar you choose so your entry can be shown to other players.
- We do not show ads, we do not sell your data, and we do not use advertising identifiers (IDFA) in the current version of our Games.
- You can opt out of analytics at any time by emailing us at info@kitegames.net (see Section 5).
2. Information we collect
We do not require you to sign in or provide any personal details to play. The limited information we process is described below.
2.1 Analytics data
Our analytics provider, Google Firebase Analytics, collects usage and device information such as:
- Gameplay events (for example, a level starting or ending, level number, and outcome);
- Approximate session and engagement information;
- Device and technical information: device model, operating system version, language, country/region (derived from IP address — the IP address itself is not retained by us), and a randomly generated app-instance identifier.
We do not enable Google’s advertising features, and Firebase Analytics in the current version does not access your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA).
2.2 Crash and diagnostic data
To keep our Games stable, Google Firebase Crashlytics collects crash reports and diagnostic information when a Game stops unexpectedly, including device state, operating system, the scene or level active at the time, and an anonymous installation identifier. Crash data does not identify you personally.
2.3 Leaderboard data (only if you use a leaderboard)
Global leaderboards are powered by Unity Gaming Services (UGS). When you use one, we process:
- An anonymous player identifier created automatically by Unity’s anonymous sign-in (no email, password, or real name is involved);
- Your score and the display name, avatar, and frame you choose in-game.
Your score, display name, avatar, and frame are visible to all other players on the leaderboard.
2.4 Information we do NOT collect
We do not collect your real name, email address, phone number, postal address, contacts, photos, precise GPS location, or payment information, and we do not use tracking for advertising in the current version of our Games.
3. Why we use your information and our legal bases (GDPR / KVKK)
| Purpose | Data used | Legal basis (GDPR) |
|---|---|---|
| Understand and improve gameplay | Analytics data (2.1) | Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), given when you accept this Policy on first launch |
| Keep the Games stable and fix crashes | Crash data (2.2) | Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) in a functioning, stable app |
| Provide a global leaderboard you chose to use | Leaderboard data (2.3) | Performance of a service you requested (Art. 6(1)(b)) |
You can withdraw analytics consent at any time (see Section 5) without affecting the rest of the Game.
4. Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it for third-party advertising. We rely on the following service providers (“processors”), who process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms:
| Provider | Purpose | Their privacy policy |
|---|---|---|
| Google (Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics) | Analytics and crash reporting |
firebase.google.com/support/privacy policies.google.com/privacy |
| Unity Technologies (Unity Gaming Services) | Anonymous sign-in and leaderboards | unity.com/legal/game-player-and-app-user-privacy-policy |
| Apple | App distribution and platform services | apple.com/legal/privacy |
We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users or us.
5. Your choices and how to opt out
- Withdraw analytics consent / opt out: You can opt out of analytics at any time by emailing us at info@kitegames.net. Once you opt out, we will delete the analytics data associated with your device and exclude it from further analysis. Because our Games are anonymous, please include your in-game Player ID (shown in the Game’s Settings screen) so we can locate the correct data.
- Anonymized data: Even after you opt out, we may continue to collect and use anonymized, non-personal information about how the Games are played — for example, aggregate level-completion statistics — which cannot be linked back to you.
- Device controls: On iOS you can also limit analytics at the system level via Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements, and by resetting identifiers through your device settings.
6. International data transfers
Our providers (Google, Unity, and Apple) may process and store information on servers located outside your country, including in the United States and the European Union. Where data is transferred out of the EEA, UK, or Türkiye, these providers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. See their privacy policies linked in Section 4.
7. Data retention
- Analytics data is retained by Firebase for up to 14 months (per our Firebase configuration) and is then automatically deleted or aggregated.
- Crash data is retained by Crashlytics for up to 90 days.
- Leaderboard data is retained while the leaderboard is active and your entry participates; you can request deletion (Section 9).
8. Security
We and our providers use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, email us at info@kitegames.net with a description of your request and your in-game Player ID. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
- EEA / UK (GDPR): You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
- Türkiye (KVKK): You have the rights set out in Article 11 of Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and may apply to us and, where applicable, to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurumu).
- California (CCPA / CPRA): We do not sell or “share” personal information. You may request access to or deletion of your data as described above.
10. Children’s privacy
Our Games are intended for a general audience and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us at info@kitegames.net and we will delete it. Where required in the EEA, the relevant minimum age for consent to data processing may be higher (13–16 depending on the country).
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — for example, if we add new features such as advertising or in-app purchases. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, ask you to review the updated Policy within the Game. Your continued use of the Games after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
